Unconditional Love

This evening while I was waiting for the veggie patties to cook, I was busy sewing Bunny Foo Foo's head closed after he fell off Grace's sponge. While I was sewing up the bunny I started thinking about how easy it was for me to take out my sewing kit and do the 5 minute job and yet if a button fell off my pants (both pre and post Grace) I would probably just walk around with a safety pin for, well lets just say, a very long time.
Becoming a mom has changed me, it's made me want to be the best person I can be. Each day I learn how to be more patient, to slow down and delight in the simple things, to be silly and have fun, but my biggest lesson learnt is that of unconditional love. A love that has no terms and conditions, a love that gives even when there's nothing to give, a love that does not judge and a love that will sew up Bunny Foo Foo because it makes you happy, and I delight in that happiness.
