Gracie grapes

Grace really likes grapes. We bought our first punnet for the season and she devoured about half of that in a day…we'll have to slow down on that a bit. After lunch we were all having some grapes. Grace had finished hers and was keen for more. After giving her a few as I munched along I ended up with my last three. Thinking that there was one for each of us I held them out to Grace and said, "Grace, which grape would you like?"
She looked at them, sized them up and then….grabbed all three and shovelled them into her mouth as fast as possible. It was then really hard to explain to her that she had been rude through all the laughing going on at the table.
Donné was chatting to her mom on the phone this afternoon and asked Grace if she would like to speak to Granny. "No," pause, "Sorry granny." Well, as least she was half polite.
