The hunt

Our children love Easter. They absolutely love the Easter egg hunt. Grace, at 10, still gets giddy as they rush out the door to go and find those eggs. It is actually lovely to see the joy of it. This is definitely Grace’s favourite holiday, and gauging the boys today, it is rapidly moving up their list too.

The hunt is on
Eggs galore. We had this magical marshmallow Easter egg box that was marked 48, but somehow seemed to produce 53 eggs. There really is an Easter bunny.
The boys got these dragon hand puppets (with Easter eggs in their mouths), so lots of roaring and fire & ice shooting today.

Donné got an Easter egg decorating kit for Grace, so we all sat down and had some fun making our Easter eggs.

Hey…why didn’t my evil egg make any of the photos? We’ll never forget you Mr. Evil Egg – your smile was so lovely (before you were eaten)
Easter cuddles
Easter dances (“I’m all out of salt”)
My first sourdough bread! (jip, back to the dough theme)

The real bunny, Marshmallow, escaped again and has not yet returned. The boys are quite displeased with this, especially our sensitive soul Eli. She’s been spotted in the street and around, but we haven’t recaptured her yet.
