Sleeping in

I can't remember the last time I slept until I woke up on my own (i.e. without Grace or an alarm waking me up). This morning Grace decided to sleep in a bit and both her parents were awake before she was – I guess that was a late birthday present. Today was a great relaxing day with our friends Em & Jay who we appreciate so much – it is a blessing to have such special friends. Grace pottered around, played on her jungle gym, and just had a generally calm day.
Last night I remade the bird seed cakes using a bit more gelatine and a bit less water. Round 2 worked out much better….now we wait and see if the birds approve.
We’re keen to find a good bird feeder and have been looking everywhere for one. Not much choice over here on the island though, we might have to wait until our next shopping trip to the states. Jodi loves watching the birdies =)
