Camping prep

Next weekend will be our first family camping outing (weather permitting) and we need a lantern, which landed us at Outdoor Warehouse. Grace has read about camping in one of her books and I thought she would be very excited to go camping and sleep in a tent, so when she was getting a bit restless while we were looking at the lights I took her upstairs to check out the tents.
Happy-gasm. I think she was most excited about the stretcher bed like the one she will be sleeping on, but she was super happy to go and explore all the tents and try out any beds which were available.
Then this afternoon we set up the tent we’re borrowing and we had a happy little miss muffet walking around and gathering things inside the tent. Just one problem: she needs to learn to actually lift her feet when going over the threshold of the tent. That would result in much less eating of the ground.
