Grace was working with Kaley on division in class today, and Kaley sent her off to figure out how many times 9 goes into 81. Grace goes off, works it out, comes back and confidently scratches out 81 and writes 82. “It’s not 81, it is 82 – I counted them.” Kaley wasn’t able to convince her that she may be mistaken, so they went to count again. They go through it together, and get to 81. Grace says, “Oh…I didn’t really want to do it anyway.”
