The second 2nd birthday party

Today we celebrated Grace's 2nd birthday…again, this time with our Cape Town friends.It was an absolutely stunning day and perfect for being outside in the garden and playing on the jungle gym. Grace was spoiled yet again (thank you friends).
Donné did all the hard work planning and preparing the party and I think she did a great job.
Blowing out the candles on the monkey replica cake – no straw needed this time. Grace was generally quite adamant that she wanted another monkey cake, although there was a day when she flip-flopped between a monkey and a bunny.

One other little story that I want to remember: yesterday when Grace woke up from her afternoon nap I asked her if she had a good sleep. She rolled over, smiled and gave me a big thumbs up đŸ™‚
