Swinging logic

Grace wanted to swing after supper, but the rule was that she had to eat enough food and the house had to be tidy before she could swing. Eventually no swinging was happening at all, because the house was still a mess and she had hardly eaten. Wailing and gnashing of teeth ensued and then Donné and Grace had this conversation (you have to imagine Grace whining/moaning, but trying to hold it together to answer the questions),
D: Grace, what did you have to do?
G: Eat my supper and tidy up.
D: Have you eaten enough supper?
G: No
D: And is the house tidy?
G: No
D: So what does that mean Grace?
G: I want to swing!
She understands, knows the rules and the consequence, but just can’t get over what she had her mind set on.
What are we doing first thing tomorrow morning? Swigging!
