Sandy brothers

Donné set up a small sand pit for Adam today, and Eli joined him to help explore the sand. Adam (being a baby) decided that it looked yummy….is wasn’t.

Good old donkey

He’s always good for a laugh, he’s donkey. Now all three children have had a chuckle at the floppy donkey.

Miss Pancakes

Grace has been wanting to make pancakes after she and Lea made pancakes together, and today was her day. The hot stove did freak her out a bit, but she pushed through to make quite a few little pancakes with only a few singes to her fingers.

Outdoor baking

We had a wonderful get together at the Bradshaw’s to see the Parker’s off as they head to Nelspruit to fulfil a dream of managing a farm. The combination of children between the families is perfect, with Grace and Diya, Jack and Caleb, and Eli and Asher spending lots of time in their pairs.

Eli and Asher did some outdoor baking (and cleaned the kitchen up so nicely afterwards too)

Neb-u-baby

Adam is fortunately recovering nicely from his bout of flu (or whichever viral infection it happened to be), but to help clear out the congestion and prevent things going to his chest the Dr. recommended a saline and ventolin nebuliser. Now we have a little nebuliser baby three times a day – fortunately he is generally fine with it, and his siblings like to “put on a show” while he breathes in the good stuff.

Bunny bunch

Shortly before Easter we received a package from Aunty Annie with soft bunnies for each of the children, and all three of them have taken to these bunnies. They are “so soft,” and Grace & Eli are enjoying cuddling them at night. Thank you Aunty Annie!

Prince Sophia

Eli comes down the stairs and Donné says, “Oh my, you look like a princess my boy.” Eli stands proud and says, “I not a princess, I Sophia.”

Bunny boy

Before Easter Grace really wanted us to go to the shops so that we could buy some Lindt bunnies. As far as I knew Donné had already surreptitiously organised some of them, so I said to her, “Grace, I’m sure mommy has organised with the Easter bunny to get some of those.”

Grace, getting upset about this says, “But the Easter bunny is not real! Mommy must have organised with Takealot.”
