Eliosaurus

Eli is very proud of his new shirt from Aunty Annie an Uncle Ian. I think it may have lead to some coversations in the class today.

Playing croquet with Ian during yesterday’s long and busy day. He started at school at 8am, went with Ian for a play date after school, popped in for supper, then off again to a parent info evening and sleeping by 8pm…..and he was super happy. The extrovert is strong in this one.

Car seats and neb naps

Adam, weighing in at 10.7kg, has grown out of his baby car seat – there just isn’t enough room for him any more. His shoulders get squished up, and it is awkward to get him into it. Even though we would prefer to keep him in that, it was time for an upgrade…

Shame, the poor little guy is still be nebulised with saline to make sure everything stays clear and he doesn’t get another ear infection (which would mean a trip to the ENT). Yesterday morning he woke up early, and then fell asleep while being nebulised.

Shoe laces

Grace was very excited to have finally figured out how to tie her shoe laces. She went and got the bow frame from the pre-school class and her brain twigged the whole process, so she is now tying every shoe she can get her hands on. The video backing track is by Adam.

Lava laugh

Adam thought it was very funny when Eli was burning his feet on the hot lava

The well song

Eli was busy playing “School, school,” and he was the teacher

And Grace sat down to write her own song from scratch

This is her own song, written entirely from scratch, which I think she wants to sing in an audition for the school play. Yes, it needs some work, but it is entirely her own. She has also been working hard at getting her pencil grip correct, and did a brilliant job while writing the song.

Middle-aged

I’m just a middle ages sales guy, who is just a tiny bit overweight, out with some friends….

Box hack

Eli says, “I want to cut the egg box with a knife.” Hmm, I’m not so sure that is a good idea my boy. “Teacher Zain cuts boxes with a knife.” Okay, I’m still not convinced. Eli – I’m going to do what I want to no matter what you say.

Fortunately the knife is blunt and no fingers were harmed in the assault on the egg box.
