Some slip ‘n slide fun, and kudos to Donné for the awesome photos

I had to have a go too…

Eli, the little blue-eyed tea pot – he is really loving his tea at the moment
Grace and Eli had their first visit to the Spur today, with Granny, Grandpa and Aunty Keren. Face painting, playing in the play area and ice cream with sprinkles were the highlights for them.

First Spur ice cream….not a Chico (they’ve changed), but being able to sprinkle is a joy for Grace
After a few full-on days, today was a bit slower, and a bit of a recovery day for the children….and adults.
Catching some zzz’s
Decorating the Christmas tree with Gogo
Donné’s version of curling up with a book
Gogo (who Eli calls “Bobo”) and Gramps (who Eli calls “Dap” or “Damps”) enjoying some ice cream with the grand kiddies
We’ve arrived safely in Jeffrey’s Bay for a long awaited holiday. Thank you Lord for a safe and uneventful trip.
Well, I guess Eli vomitting in the Wimpy may classify as an event, but fortunately not a serious one.

Today was our 12 year anniversary. 12 beautiful years of being together, and 12 wonderful years of growth and love.
We decided to postpone our celebrations because we were out last night to celebrate a new marriage, and getting ready for our holiday today.
We celebrated Geoff and Chantal’s wedding yesterday, which was a big celebration because they have had a long journey together to get to this point. For us, our long journey was to get Eli weaned at night and going to sleep (mostly) on his own…which meant that we could go and party while Keren looked after the kiddiwinkles.
I loved Geoff and Chantal’s joy and the excitement of everyone at the wedding. It was a amazing wedding.
Chantal dress was beautiful and she looked stunning in it
The soft colours of the Christmas Roses were great (and the perfect time of year for hydrangeas)
A true cheese cake
The food was really good. Delicious canapes (including yummy crispy duck with tortilla chips), with all the courses being well rounded and prepared.
The chapel entrance
One of the three best men, and my friend and colleague, Stephan celebrated his birthday
We got to catch up with Gary, meet Faye and had a great time with them at the wedding
Gary’s phone face, “These settings on the camera are all wrong….”
The first dance
My stunning wife who I love being married to
Being married for 12 years is awesome. We had a lovely evening talking, dancing and having fun
