It had only taken two and a half years of living in Somerset West, but we finally made it to our home town’s beach!
A picture says it all….or does it?
This all started with Grace wearing Eli’s top this morning and not wanting to take it off. Not really sure how it got to this point, but I’m sure Grace played a role in it…
Grace baked a cake for Gogo and Gramps this morning. Donné printed out a recipe for her, and she got on with it with minimal assistance from us.
Gogo and Gramps are here for a whistlestop tour to get visas. Gogo didn’t realise her fingers would still remember how to play the music.

Adam has been enjoying finding a toothbrush (sometimes his) and having a go at brushing. He is also in love with flip to lids, which his toothpaste happens to have.
That’s all good and well, until you actually try to brush his teeth, at which point it becomes a fight with an unhappy octopus.
His current teeth count is 9. Top four incisors, bottom four incisors (two are half way out), and one mostly out premolar, and what feels like another one on the way.
Get your headphones on peeps, it’s time for the drive home!
Tractor time at our pitstop. Adam did really well, and we managed to make the trip with a single stop, and minimal crying along the way.
We discovered some good coffee in Riversdal…
And now we’re home safely after a lovely break, one which gave us some time to recover and where we were really well looked after – a wonderful blessing from my folks.
