It was party Saturday today, with Eli going to Callum’s reptile party this morning, and Grace going to Janpaul’s Star Wars party in the afternoon.
Spending some time with a ball python, which is quite cute because it hides its head under its body in a ball when frightened.
The Cape Cobra…now there is a snake I wouldn’t like to run in to in the wild. They are diurnal, so it was relatively hyper compared to the other snakes, and extremely venomous.
This morning’s party was getting to know some new people, and the this afternoon was hanging out with some friends we’ve know for a while – both were good

Micro has grown a lot in a year. He (or she) was just a tiny little egg a little over a year ago, and is now going strong at about 10-15cm (compared with the 80cm or so of the other fish). Micro still loves living in the lillies, even when the water is low.
Eli did his own embroidery design in class. The orange fish is for Donné, the blue shark for me, the heart is for Grace, and the little button is for Adam.
These two, having some fun together playing, “Farmer, builder, basher.”
We had our first family games night tonight! Donné put Adam to sleep, and then we sat down for games of tic tac toe, paw patrol memory game, Race for the Treasure, Guess Who, and Zingo. We all really enjoyed it and I’m looking forward to more.
For the last week or so Adam has been saying, “Poop!” when he had pooed, and when he needs to make a wee or a poo. We’ve put the potty and and put him onto it when he is saying he needs to go.
Today Adam woke from his morning nap, got up and went to sit on the potty. Donné took off his nappy and he made a wee – into the potty!
Tonight at bath time he went to the potty saying, “Poop, poop,” and then made a wee in the potty again.
Quite surprising!
Addy had been trying to get onto the wooden l swing, so I have him a hand up.
It also looks like Sam will have another helper
