First time bathing without the bath ring – so far no falls (although I’m sure having Grace and Eli in the bath at the same time will change that)
Cleaned up and ready to go to Heidi’s 40th birthday party. Jacket courtesy of Grandpa and Donné’s dress courtesy of Heather.
We had loads of fun at the party, so much so we decided to go back to the party after returning home to feed Adam.
Adam is getting going in all sorts of ways, like starting to take a few steps with the help of a chair
And also starting to figure out how some things work (if bashing until you get the desired effect is figuring things out)
And as always, just being cute
Peaceful time in the garden pruning and feeding roses and planting some lavender
The pyjama gang
It was a very peaceful birthday today, taking it chill, being able to have a cup of coffee alone with Donné (with grandparents looking after the children), and enjoying some time in the garden
Today is Granny’s 60th birthday, and they are spending some time with us in Cape Town
May the year ahead be surprising and refreshing, and filled with lots of joy.
After a very quick trip to the voting station, it was time for some tea with friends.
Collectables are all the rage at the moment, and Grace has been gathering her set(s). The sound machine with the animal collectables from Pick ‘n Pay is fun for everyone…
Meanwhile elsewhere, the boys were making a noise with an old printer
These two little guys with their smiles are real heart warmers.
Adam is shuffling along, but only to his right. He is also saying lots of “da, da,” “mum, mum” and “ba ba.” He is climbing stairs, and even able to go up a full flight of stairs. He can’t go down yet and needs to learn to scoot down backwards, which means we’re backwards and forwards trying to make sure he doesn’t land on his face. The cute little guy is full of smiles and lots of fun.
