Cousins & Cluedo
Cuddles with Robyn – Grace and Eli got to spend a day playing Cluedo with Rob & Chloe and enjoying some time with their cousins.

Adam’s holiday work
Adam’s holiday work has been learning to stand. He has pretty much been focused on trying to pull himself up so that he can get to whatever happens to be on the table. He’s not quite there yet, but showed good signs of figuring out how to get his foot under himself….soon he’ll just need to give a good push and he’ll be up.
Chewy, loud and wild
Grace, while bathing with the rest of the clan, says to me, “Adam, he is chewy,” (while Adam is chewing on a face clothe), “and Eli, he is…..loud.” So I say to her, “And how would you describe yourself Grace?” Moment’s pause, “I’m a cute munchkin!” she says, then thinks again, “No, I’m wild! Chewy, loud and wild!”
Having a visit with Bella and Gabby from next door – they were the fire crew and Eli was the dispatcher, sending them off to fight fires in different parts of the garden

Dizzy dumplings

Eli and Grace woke up on a high today and did a LOT of spinning around. They called the game Dizzy Dumplings, which entails spinning around shouting “Dizzy dumplings” until you fall over.

Grace first wanted to make a smoothie from her crafts book, then realised she doesn’t really like smoothies, so she decided to upgrade to a milkshake. Turns out milkshakes are super simple and, like ice cream, are loved by children and adults alike.

Grace made pancakes from a recipe in her new crafts book for the family get together today. The stove still freaks her our a bit, but with some help she produced a very tasty batch of pancakes.
